This newsletter is sent to Atlantic.Net members each month to provide information on what's happening here at Atlantic.Net. Our goal is to keep you better informed and to get your input on topics of interest. We are working on being the best Internet provider anywhere, and with your feedback we will get there!

HOLIDAY CLOSING
Atlantic.Net’s offices and customer support center will be closed Monday, September 6 in observance of Labor Day. We will re-open at our normal time on Tuesday, September 7. Our network operations center will continue to be monitored during this time. We hope our members have a safe and enjoyable holiday.


NEW ACCESS NUMBERS ANNOUNCED
In our ongoing efforts to improve our customer service, we are announcing new access numbers to take advantage of network and equipment upgrades. The access number is what your computer dials to connect to your Atlantic.Net account. If you live in one of the following locations, your access number has changed:

This list will be updated frequently. Affected subscribers will be notified via e-mail when and if they need to change their number. Click here for a complete list of access numbers and simple instructions on changing your number on your computer.


ATLANTIC.NET EXPANDS OUTSIDE FLORIDA
Atlantic.Net has opened its first points of presence outside of Florida. We now offer 56K Internet access in: Biloxi, MS; Gulfport, MS; Hattiesburg, MS; Lafayette, LA; Shreveport, LA; Houma, LA; Monroe, LA; Pascagoula, MS and Shreveport, LA. This is the beginning of our planned nine-state rollout, which will eventually cover all the southeastern United States.

 
NEW SERVICE AREAS ANNOUNCED IN FLORIDA
Atlantic.Net's 56K dial-up service is now available to subscribers in Cedar Key, FL; Zephyrhills, FL; Delray Beach, FL; Boca Raton, FL and Dade City, FL.  

For a complete list of access numbers please click here.  Atlantic.Net members can access their account and refer new subscribers from any city where we offer service.


SERVICE UPDATE
Atlantic.Net has completed the installation of new equipment serving: Daytona Beach, FL; Gainesville, FL ;New Smyrna Beach, FL; Ocala, FL ; Old Town, FL; Palatka, FL; St. Augustine, FL and Stuart, FL. Users experiencing difficulties connecting in these areas should notify Member Services at 1-800-921-9328. Please have your modem brand and model number available when calling.

Upgrading these facilities brings many advantages to our customers, including the capability to offer new high-speed access services, such as cable and/or DSL, in the very near future.


WEBMAIL
Atlantic.Net Members can now check their Atlantic.Net e-mail from any computer in the world with Internet access and a Web browser. Log in to Webmail and enter your username and password to begin.

 
NEW SURF.ATLANTIC.NET
Customizable weather is now available on Surf.Atlantic.Net. Simply enter your five-digit ZIP code where indicated to use this new feature.


ACCESSING ATLANTIC.NET
Has your access number changed? Do you travel outside your home area? Find a complete listing of all our current local access numbers, organized by city, here. You can use your account to dial-in from any of the cities where we offer local access (if you go there on vacation, move, etc.). In addition, you may refer new users (family, friends, etc.) who live in any of these cities and earn a free month of access for yourself. Note: Travel features are not available to promotional account users.


SIGN UP FOR DIRECT PAYMENT
If you normally pay your Atlantic.Net service fees by check, you may want to consider changing your billing method to credit card or direct bank debit. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. Paying automatically is easy and saves money by paying monthly instead of quarterly. For those members who would like to continue paying by check, you may now choose to have your invoice sent via e-mail instead of regular U.S. mail. For those who would like to pay by direct bank debit, the authorization form is now available in Adobe Acrobat (.pdf) format. You can find it at here. Just print the form and follow the instructions on completing and submitting your information to us.

Atlantic.Net Member Services Representatives are available from 9:00am to 9:00pm on weekdays and from 10:00am to 6:00pm on weekends, excluding major holidays, to assist you with any issues (new accounts, billing questions, technical support, etc.) regarding your Atlantic.Net dial-up account.
