Welcome to your on-line source for news and updates regarding the
Atlantic.Net service. We hope to use it to keep you better informed and to gather
your input. We are working on being the BEST Internet provider, and with your input
we can get there!

NEW LOCATIONS
Crystal River is the newest addition to the expanding area that
Atlantic.Net covers. We are planning to begin offering local 56K dial-up access in
Daytona Beach and Edgewater sometime in November. If you would like to see us expand
into a particular area, please let us know, and
we will see what we can do.
A complete listing of our current POPs (Points-of-Presence) is available. Remember that you can
use your account to dial-in from any of the cities where we offer local access (if you go
there on vacation, move, etc.). In addition, you may refer new users (family,
friends, etc.) who live in any of these cities for a free month of access.
ATLANTIC.NET ON THE ROAD
Atlantic.Net representatives are available to come to your business
or civic group meetings to discuss our service and issues regarding the Internet as a
whole. We need at least 30 days advance notice and details about your group.

NEW NETSCAPE SOFTWARE
Atlantic.Net is now distributing Netscape Communicator software
instead of Microsoft Internet Explorer. If you are currently using Internet Explorer
and you would like to try out our Netscape software, please visit our Software Center. We
believe that our new software package is much better than the old one, particularly for
our members using Macintosh systems, so you may want to try it out.

WANT TO JOIN A COMPUTER CLUB?
We recently started compiling a list of Computer User Groups in the
areas served by Atlantic.Net. The list is not an
endorsement of any of the groups listed there. Rather, it is a resource for those
members looking for a group to join. If you are a member of a user group not yet on
the list, please fill out the form to add your group.
MEMBER SERVICES
Atlantic.Net Member Services Representatives are available from 9AM
to 9PM on weekdays and from 10AM to 6PM on weekends to assist you with any issues (new
accounts, billing questions, technical support, etc.) regarding your Atlantic.Net dial-up
account.
Please visit our technical support site for
answers to many common questions. We are adding new information all the time, so you
may want to take a look at it often.
NETWORK OPERATIONS MAILING LIST
If you are technically inclined, and you want to stay updated
regularly on things that are happening with the network, we have a Network Operations
Center mailing list. If you want to subscribe to this list, please send a message to
atlantic-noc-request@atlantic.net,
with the word SUBSCRIBE on the first line of the message.
