INTRODUCTION

ATLANTIC.NET ANNOUNCEMENTS
Office hours of our Gainesville, FL headquarters have changed to 8am to 5pm, Monday through Friday.  Please make a note of this when calling or visiting.

Our Aiken, SC satellite office has moved to a new location.  The new address is 215 Richland Avenue West, in downtown Aiken.  New office hours are 9am to 6pm, Monday through Friday and 10am to 2pm Saturday.  Phone & fax numbers have not changed.

Also, our satellite office in Spring Hill, FL will be closed until further notice.  Please mail all payments to the main Gainesville address listed on your periodic invoice.  To change your payment method to credit card or automatic bank debit, please call Member Services at 1-800-921-9328.

NEW WEB DESIGN SERVICES
We are pleased to announce that enhanced Web design services are now available to business customers throughout our service area.  Full-time Web designers are now on staff in our Gainesville, FL headquarters and Aiken, SC satellite office.  For more information please call our Business Sales Department at 1-800-521-5881.


MAKING PAYMENTS

We would like to remind all members that payments are due prior to the first date of the service period listed on your statement.  For example, payment for service beginning October 1st is due on or before September 30th.  For your convenience, we have several payment options:

  1. Stop by one of our offices, in Gainesville, FL or Aiken, SC

  2. To use a major credit card, just call Member Services anytime 24 hours a day at 1-800-921-9328.

  3. Mail a check or money order to Atlantic.Net Payment Processing, 2815 NW 13th Street, Suite 201, Gainesville, FL 32609

Please make sure your check is made out to Atlantic.Net, and be sure to include your username or account number on the check.  Some subscribers are still making payments out to company names other than Atlantic.Net, which may result in a delay in applying the payment to an account.  Thank you for your cooperation.


ACCESSING ATLANTIC.NET 

Atlantic.Net's 56K & ISDN dial-up access services, running over our Cisco Powered Network, are now available to subscribers in over 70 cities throughout Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Louisiana, North Carolina, South Carolina and Mississippi. You can use your account to dial-in from any of the cities where we offer local access (if you go there on vacation, move, etc.). In addition, you may refer new users (family, friends, etc.) who live in any of these cities and earn a free month of access for yourself.

ATLANTIC.NET ON THE ROAD
On Saturday, October 7th we will be at the Pensacola (FL) Macintosh User Group. The meeting begins at 12:30pm.   The topic is an “Introduction to the Internet”, followed by a brief discussion on the future of the Internet.  For information please call Bill Case at 334-626-7647.  Door prizes will be given away prior to the start of the meeting.

On Tuesday, October 10th Atlantic.Net will be in Atlanta, GA speaking to the Atlanta IBM PC User Group.  The topic will be “The future of the Internet and new products that will change your life”. Saturday, October 21st Atlantic.Net will be in Belleview, FL at 1pm with the Pine Run Computer Club.  A broad range of subjects will covered, including HTML and "Point and Click: How information travels on the Internet".  For information call H. Ray Youngberg at 352-307-3767.

On Sunday October 29th Atlantic.Net will be at the Timber Pines Computer Club technology expo in Spring Hill, FL.  This is an all day event beginning at 10am and will feature computer-related business from a variety of areas.  For more information call Glenn Ohanesian at 352-688-2468 or Ryan Harris at the number below.

CHECKING YOUR ATLANTIC.NET E-MAIL
We encourage all of our members to check their e-mail periodically.   You can use Atlantic.Net Webmail to check your e-mail from any Internet-connected computer, or through a variety of commercial e-mail programs such as Netscape Communicator, Microsoft Outlook Express or Eudora Pro. For more information about using or configuring your Atlantic.Net e-mail, please call our Member Services department at 1-800-921-9328 or visit our Support Site.

If you would prefer to have us send important information, such as billing messages or service updates, to an e-mail address other than your primary Atlantic.Net mailbox, please send a note to our Billing Department or call Member Services with the information.

 
SIGN UP FOR DIRECT PAYMENT
If you normally pay your Atlantic.Net service fees by check, you may want to consider changing your billing method to credit card or direct bank debit. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. Paying automatically is easy and saves money by paying monthly instead of quarterly. For those members who would like to continue paying by check, you may choose to have your invoice sent via e-mail instead of regular U.S. mail. For more information please click here or e-mail here.
