This newsletter is mailed to Atlantic.Net members monthly to provide information regarding what's going on here at Atlantic.Net. We hope to use it to keep you better informed and to gather your input. We are working on being the BEST Internet provider, and with your input we can get there!

A complete listing of our current POPs (Points-of-Presence) is available.  Remember that you can use your account to dial-in from any of the cities where we offer local access (if you go there on vacation, move, etc.).  In addition, you may refer new users (family, friends, etc.) who live in any of these cities for a free month of access.

NEW MEMBERS
Last month Atlantic.Net acquired the dial-up subscribers of Hankins Internet Services in Lake City and Citrus.Net in Crystal River. We would like to welcome all of our new members in these areas. Please call our Member Services department if you have any questions at all regarding your new account with Atlantic.Net. ATLANTIC.NET ON THE ROAD
Atlantic.Net representatives attended a meeting last month of the Santa Fe Community College Computer Users Group in Gainesville. Discussion topics included a general overview on how the Internet works, a brief history of our company and ways that people can make optimum use of this wonderful medium. If you would like us to attend a meeting of your business or civic group, please send e-mail to partners@atlantic.net. We need at least 30 days advance notice and details about your group.

NETSCAPE SOFTWARE
Atlantic.Net has copies of our new Netscape Communicator Kit available. If you are currently using Internet Explorer and you would like to try out Netscape Communicator, please visit our Software Center to download it or call Member Services to request a copy of the CD.  The Netscape Kit i savailable for all operating systems, including Macintosh.

WANT TO JOIN A COMPUTER CLUB?
Computer clubs are an excellent way to learn about new software and other technologies and to meet new people in your area. If you are interested in joining a computer club we have compiled a list of computer user groups in the areas served by Atlantic.Net. The list is not a specific endorsement of any of the groups listed there. Rather, it is a resource for those members looking for a group to join. If you are a member of a user group not yet on the list, please fill out the form to add your group.

MEMBER SERVICES
Atlantic.Net Member Services Representatives are available from 9AM to 9PM on weekdays and from 10AM to 6PM on weekends to assist you with any issues (new accounts, billing questions, technical support, etc.) regarding your Atlantic.Net dial-up account.

You may also visit our technical support site for answers to many common questions. We are adding new information all the time, so you may want to take a look at it often.

If you are technically inclined, and you want to stay updated regularly on things that are happening with the network, we have a Network Operations Center mailing list. If you want to subscribe to this list, please send a message to atlantic-noc-request@atlantic.net, with the word SUBSCRIBE on the first line of the message.
