Atlantic.Net Named to Inc 500 for Third Year Atlantic.Net has been named one of America’s fastest-growing private companies by Inc magazine for the third year in a row. This year, Atlantic.Net ranks number 269 on the Inc 500, a roster of the country’s fastest-growing private companies based on sales growth from 1997 through 2001. Noteworthy Inc 500 alumni include Microsoft, Timberland, and Domino’s Pizza. During the past 20 years, fewer than 6 percent of the winners have been named to the list three times. Atlantic.Net is one of only 31 Florida-based companies to make the 2002 Inc 500 and is the state’s only Internet service provider to be honored.

The Atlantic.Net team sends sincere thanks to all of our members for helping us earn this national recognition for a third year. Thank you for choosing us to serve your Internet needs.

Atlantic.Net Offices Closed for Thanksgiving
Atlantic.Net's offices and Member Services call center will be closed on Thursday, November 28th and Friday, November 29th so our employees can spend the Thanksgiving holiday with their families. The call center will re-open at 12 a.m. on Saturday, November 30th. The Network Operations Center will continue to be monitored during this time. Have a safe and happy holiday!

Turkey Day Alternatives
Want to spice up your Thanksgiving? Forget tradition. Instead of stuffing that plain ol' bird, pick up some non-traditional recipes sure to have your family begging for more.

• Celebrate your holiday the Cajun way with Cajun Pot Roast. Top it off with some Plum Crostata for dessert.

• Looking for something lighter and friendlier to your waistline? Whip up some light pumpkin pie. It’s a traditional recipe with a healthy twist you’re sure to love.

• Visit the French countryside when you serve herb-roasted capon with caramelized onions. Turkey never tasted this good!

• For the vegetarian in the family, serve a harvest vegetarian torte. It has no meat, but plenty of flavor.

Using Google's Advanced Search Options
Many times, entering a topic in a search engine yields a haystack of options. To find the needle you're looking for, you'll have to take your search to the next level. Google is a popular search engine that has specific tabs to help limit your search.

• Web — for general topics
• Images — for photos and illustrations
• Groups — for discussion groups
• News — for current news articles

If these tabs do not limit your search, click on the Advanced Search feature to refine it further.

• Step One — Fill out the Find Result field, which focuses on specific words you want to find on the Internet. You can fill out all the fields or just the ones that pertain to your topic. Choose how many options you want Google to show you.
• Step Two — Choose the type of Web format you want Google to search. You can specify the language, file format, date, or domain used to create the site. You can also run your search through a filter or limit your search to sites that contain your topic or phrase in the title, body, or other area you want to find your information.
• Step Three — Use Page-specific search to limit your search to pages similar to the page you identify or to pages that link to a specific page.
• Step Four — Use Topic-specific search to find mail-order, operating system-related, government, military, or university sites.
