HOLIDAY CLOSING NOTICE
Atlantic.Net's offices and customer support center will be closed Thursday, November 23rd and Friday, November 24th in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday. Our customer support center will re-open at 12:00am on Saturday, November 25. The network operations center will continue to be monitored during this time. We hope our members have a safe and enjoyable holiday.

NEW WEB DESIGN SERVICES

HIGH-SPEED DSL SERVICE NOW AVAILABLE
Atlantic.Net is pleased to announce that DSL is now available to home and business users in select cities. DSL is a broadband Internet access option that uses existing copper phone lines to deliver high-speed connectivity to homes and businesses. Availability and connection speeds vary by region.

MAKING PAYMENTS

We would like to remind all members that payments are due prior to the first date of the service period listed on your statement.  For example, payment for service beginning October 1st is due on or before September 30th.  For your convenience, we have several payment options:

  1. Stop by one of our offices, in Gainesville, FL or Aiken, SC

  2. To use a major credit card, just call Member Services anytime 24 hours a day at 1-800-921-9328.

  3. Mail a check or money order to Atlantic.Net Payment Processing, 2815 NW 13th Street, Suite 201, Gainesville, FL 32609

Please make sure your check is made out to Atlantic.Net, and be sure to include your username or account number on the check.  Some subscribers are still making payments out to company names other than Atlantic.Net, which may result in a delay in applying the payment to an account.  Thank you for your cooperation.


ACCESSING ATLANTIC.NET 

Atlantic.Net's 56K & ISDN dial-up access services, running over our Cisco Powered Network, are now available to subscribers in over 70 cities throughout Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Louisiana, North Carolina, South Carolina and Mississippi. You can use your account to dial-in from any of the cities where we offer local access (if you go there on vacation, move, etc.). In addition, you may refer new users (family, friends, etc.) who live in any of these cities and earn a free month of access for yourself.

ATLANTIC.NET ON THE ROAD
On Wednesday, November 8th at 8:00pm Atlantic.Net will be in Atlanta, GA. speaking to the Atlanta PC Users Group.  The topic will be "Internet Appliances and How Your World Will Change".  For more information and directions call Mike Rogers at 770-552-7914.

Thursday, November 9th Atlantic.Net will be at IBM in Atlanta, GA speaking on anti-virus protection and computer maintenance.  For information and directions to this meeting beginning at 6:30 pm please call Jim Slemenda at 770-981-5467.  Seating is limited.

On November 11th Atlantic.Net will be addressing the Ocala PC Users Group at 1:00 pm. Topics will include "Internet 101: How information travels on the World Wide Web," and creating a basic web page. For information and directions call Carl Harrison at 352-237-4025.

Tuesday, November 14th at 7:00 pm Atlantic.Net will be in Zephyrhills, FL at the Betmar Computer User Group meeting.  Topics will include "Getting the Most Out of Search Engines" and "How Information Travels on the Internet".  For directions and information please call Rita Keith at 352-788-4223.

On Thursday, November 16th a representative from Atlantic.Net will be speaking to the Alachua PC User Group at the Doyle Conner Building in Gainesville, FL. The meeting begins at 6:30 pm. On Tuesday, November 28th Atlantic.Net will be presenting to the Palm Coast Computer User Group.  The topic will be "Internet Appliances and the Future of the Internet".  For information please call Peter Kroeger at 352-446-7915.

CHECKING YOUR ATLANTIC.NET E-MAIL
We encourage all of our members to check their e-mail periodically.   You can use Atlantic.Net Webmail to check your e-mail from any Internet-connected computer, or through a variety of commercial e-mail programs such as Netscape Communicator, Microsoft Outlook Express or Eudora Pro. For more information about using or configuring your Atlantic.Net e-mail, please call our Member Services department at 1-800-921-9328 or visit our Support Site.

If you would prefer to have us send important information, such as billing messages or service updates, to an e-mail address other than your primary Atlantic.Net mailbox, please send a note to our Billing Department or call Member Services with the information.

 
SIGN UP FOR DIRECT PAYMENT
If you normally pay your Atlantic.Net service fees by check, you may want to consider changing your billing method to credit card or direct bank debit. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. Paying automatically is easy and saves money by paying monthly instead of quarterly. For those members who would like to continue paying by check, you may choose to have your invoice sent via e-mail instead of regular U.S. mail. For more information please click here or e-mail here.

For those who would like to pay by direct bank debit, the authorization form is available in Adobe Acrobat (.pdf) format.  Just print out the form and follow the instructions on filling it out and sending it to us.
