This newsletter is sent to Atlantic.Net members each
month to provide information on what's happening here at Atlantic.Net. Our goal is to keep
you better informed and to get your input on topics of interest. We are working on being
the best Internet provider anywhere, and with your feedback
we will get there!

NEW FEATURES ON THE WAY
Over the next few months Atlantic.Net
will be announcing several new features for our customers. Some highlights:
- Web-based e-mail will allow you to check your Atlantic.Net mail from
any computer in the world with Internet access and a Web browser.
- Atlantic.Nets surf.atlantic.net
Web site will get a facelift. The newly designed page will have up to the minute news and
other dynamic content. Members will be able to check stock quotes and sports scores, see
current weather conditions and browse other features, all without leaving our Web site.
- Atlantic.Nets support.atlantic.net
will also get a new design. In addition to the typical technical information and
trouble-shooting tips, the site will feature a search capability to make it easier than
ever to find answers to your technical questions.
HOLIDAY CLOSING
As a reminder, the Atlantic.Net offices will
be closed Sunday, July 4 and Monday, July 5 in observance of Independence Day. Normal business hours
will resume on Tuesday, July 6 at 9:00am. We hope all of our members have a safe and
enjoyable holiday.
DOWNLOAD THE LATEST
VERSION OF NETSCAPE
Get the latest version of the Atlantic.Net
software package, featuring Netscape Communicator 4.5, on our Technical Support site. Communicator features the Netscape
Navigator Web browser, as well as e-mail and Web authoring utilities.
ACCESSING ATLANTIC.NET
Has your access number changed? Do you travel
outside your home area? Find complete listing of all our current local access numbers,
organized by city, here. You can use
your account to dial-in from any of the cities where we offer local access (if you go
there on vacation, move, etc.). In addition, you may refer new users (family, friends,
etc.) who live in any of these cities and earn a free month of access for yourself. Note:
Travel features are not available to promotional account users.
STOP PAYING INVOICE FEES
If you normally pay your Atlantic.Net service
fees by check, you may want to consider changing your billing method to credit card or
direct bank debit. We
accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. When paying automatically there
are no invoice fees and no quarterly payments. For those members who would like to
continue paying by check, you may now choose to have your invoice sent via e-mail instead
of regular U.S. mail. For more information please e-mail our Billing Department or visit the Billing Options section of our Web page.
For those who would like to pay by direct bank
debit, the authorization form is now available in Adobe Acrobat (.pdf) format. You can
download it here.

ATLANTIC.NET ON THE ROAD
The Space Coast PC Users Group will be
welcoming Atlantic.Net for the first time on Monday, July 26th at 7:30pm. The meeting will
be held at the Central Brevard Library and Reference Center in Cocoa, Fla. Atlantic.Net
representatives will be discussing how the Internet works, some troubleshooting techniques
and how to get the most out of your Atlantic.Net connection. For much information about
the club, please visit their Website.
On July 13 at 6:30pm, Doreen Sabina will be holding
a seminar for members of the Educational Community Credit Union at Florida Community
College of Jacksonville. Seating is limited. Call 904-360-7995 for reservations.
If you would like to have us come to your next civic or computer
club meeting, just e-mail us. At least 30 days
notice is preferred.
TECH TIPS
Tired of typing in your password every time you log
in? Wondering how to keep inappropriate content away from children? How about setting up a
personal or business Web page? You'll find convenient information on all these topics and

find links to a variety of freeware and shareware programs for your computer. Just

MEMBER SERVICES
Atlantic.Net Member Services Representatives are available from
9:00am to 9:00pm on weekdays and from 10:00am to 6:00pm on weekends, excluding major
holidays, to assist you with any issues (new accounts, billing questions, technical
support, etc.) regarding your Atlantic.Net dial-up account.
NETWORK OPERATIONS MAILING LIST
If you are technically inclined and you want to stay updated
regularly on things that are happening with the network, we have a Network Operations
Center mailing list. If you want to subscribe to this list, please send a message to our NOC Request list, with the word
SUBSCRIBE on the first line of the message.
