• On July 18, narcotics detectives Mike Lowrey (Will Smith) and Marcus Burnett (Martin Lawrence) are back in Bad Boys II to stop a drug lord instigating a territorial war for Miami's drug market. Tensions mount between the partners as Lowrey falls for Burnett's sister, Syd.

Surfer Dude Answers Your Questions
Last month, we invited you to ask Surfer Dude, our resident technical guru, your burning questions about the Internet. Well you asked ... and the guru responded.

Q: I'm tired of all the junk e-mail I'm getting when I download. It's a waste of my time to have to delete 40 to 50 messages. Does Atlantic.Net have any filters that can help?
A: Dude, just like no one likes those annoying telemarketers that call when we're sitting down for a Dagwood sandwich, nobody can stand those hundreds of spam e-mails that end up in our inboxes. Fortunately, Atlantic.Net has a righteous filter called SpamScope that's designed to stop those advertisements in their tracks! You can reach SpamScope in two ways: either type http://www.spamscope.com into your Web browser or, if you're logged into your Atlantic.Net Webmail, click the SpamScope icon on the top menu bar. Use these steps to activate this totally awesome filter:
• Log in with your Atlantic.Net username and password.
• Check the box next to "Enable SpamScope for this account."
• Under General Options, Spam Delivery, select what you'd like the filter to do once it's caught spam.
• Under "Possible Spam" Warning, you can decide whether or not to have SpamScope alert you in the subject line of potential spam.
• Under Convert Spam to Text, you decide whether or not SpamScope removes the HTML coding from potential spam to free up more space in your mailbox.
• Under SpamScope Strength, you can choose to set your protection level to Optimal or click on the "Set Custom Level" link and choose one of 20 settings for your filter. The lower the number, the stronger the filter. Beware that setting your filter to one may filter out legitimate mail, while setting it to 20 will probably stop only the harshest spam. The default setting is at 10, and we recommend you begin here and experiment with the levels if you're dissatisfied with the results.
• Finally, dude, always click the "Update Settings" button to save your changes. You can visit SpamScope anytime to change your settings. Keep it real, mohn! — SD

Tech Tip: Get Online Help With Your PC Problems

You already know you can get help with your dial-up problems 24 hours a day, seven days a week through Atlantic.Net's technical support team. But suppose your screen is slowly shrinking and you fear that, in a week, you won't even be able to read the large print. Ready to toss your PC out of your second-story window because it's not operating properly? Well, before you launch your laptop across the lawn via slingshot, try getting some help online.
• Like many computer companies, Dell has online support for their home and business customers. To reach them, simply go to Dell.com and click on support. Register your product and get a username with a password to access the online support.
Apple also features an online support team to help you when you need it.
• If you can't get an answer from the makers of your computer, then services like Live Repair offer live technical support for $99 per year or $12.50 per problem. Liverepair.com technicians are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
• You can also post your problems at Google Groups or Experts Exchange and elicit responses from people who have had similar problems or know how to help.
5 Star Support is a volunteer-run support Web site that offers free technical support, tips, and tutorials. The Web site provides a great deal of troubleshooting and technical information as well.
• Of course, if you just can't deal with the reality of your computer anymore, you can visit Tech Tales or The Technical Support Nightmares Homepage and chuckle at how other folks deal with their computer problems.

Expand Your Service Set: Become a Virtual ISP
No matter what products and services your company offers, you can expand your service line and earn extra money with Atlantic.Net's Wholesale Program. The program enables your business to become a national Internet service provider (ISP). As a private-label "virtual" ISP, you can resell Atlantic.Net’s industry leading dial-up service as your own and retain the retail markup on the wholesale cost. Regardless of your technical abilities, you can start offering service throughout the United States and in Canada almost immediately.
Just take a look at what's in it for you.

• Unlimited Profit Potential Millions of customers nationwide are paying up to $24.95 each month for Internet access. As a wholesale customer with Atlantic.Net, your company will have the opportunity to cash in. As your subscriber list grows, so will your profits.

Free Advertising Each time a subscriber sends an e-mail, the recipient will see your company's domain name, which drives additional traffic to your Web site.

Diversify Your Business You could generate a steady stream of new revenue from ISP services when your traditional sales are slow. And as we all know, diversifying your business is critical to long-term success.

No Telco Hassles One of the most time-consuming tasks of running a network is when problems occur with the local telephone company. However, when you become a wholesale customer, Atlantic.Net handles all the network issues, allowing you to focus on growing your subscriber base — and your revenues!

No Overhead Installing and maintaining a network is a capital- and time-intensive project. Atlantic.Net wholesale customers can provide service to thousands of subscribers and operate with as few as one technical support representative and a part-time billing assistant.

To learn more about Atlantic.Net Wholesale Services, call (800) 521-5881 or e-mail wholesale@atlantic.net.
