The
Lizzie McGuire Movie
The Lizzie McGuire Movie spins around the axis of
Disney Channel starlet Hilary Duff, whose glossy good looks
and rather mature figure are balanced by a sweetly bashful
persona and an endearing klutziness. On a school trip to Rome,
Lizzie is discovered to be the virtual twin of an Italian
pop star named Isabella — and her dreamy former partner
wants Lizzie to take Isabella's place at an award show to
avoid a lawsuit. Only Lizzie's loyal best friend Gordo (Adam
Lamberg) suspects that Paolo may not be all that he seems.

Agent
Cody Banks
Doing for awkward teens what the Spy Kids movies did
for grade-schoolers, Agent Cody Banks is a wish-fulfillment
adventure for James Bond wannabes who are still too young
to shave. It's barely fun enough to be worthwhile, but the
best gag (at 007's expense) is buried in the soundtrack, when
a CIA receptionist announces, "Will the owner of a silver
Aston Martin please report to security ... you are parked
in a handicapped zone." So much for respecting your elders!

I don't know about you, but I think movie
stars get paid far too much for what they do. What does
someone need with millions of dollars anyway? If I had even
one million, I'd be happy.
And it seems the insane salaries apply to even the youngest
stars. Some of these kids can barely drive and are making
more in one year than most of us will probably make in a
lifetime.
Hilary Duff
It seems this former star of The
Lizzie McGuire Show is letting stardom go to her
head. After going from a nobody to a superstar in less than
a year, Duff demanded to receive a whopping $100,000 an
episode for the new season of Lizzie. However, Disney
would only offer her $35,000 per episode. Duff refused,
saying that was insultingly low. Although she only received
$1 million for the Lizzie
McGuire Movie, Disney offered her $4 million for
a sequel. With other movie deals and a newly released CD,
Duff should be keeping busy and making plenty of money.
Frankie Muniz
This 17-year-old star of Malcolm
in the Middle will receive $5 million for the sequel
to his hit movie Agent Cody Banks. And don't forget
his weekly salary from his hit television show. This kid
is rolling in money. In fact, even though he has only been
able to drive for about a year, he has already bought more
than five cars. Talk about exorbitant.
The Olsen Twins
We've all known these twins since they were just a mere
nine months old and starring on Full
House. Now, they're reportedly worth an amazing
$70 million dollars. They own their own production company,
have worked on several television shows, and put out hundreds
of products that bear their names. Wal-Mart
carries a line of Mary-Kate and Ashley clothes, as well
as make-up and hair care products. And don't forget about
their dozens of movies and books, and even video games.
They also have their own magazine.
These 16-year-olds have it made. But the best part about
these two is that they aren't self-centered or spoiled at
all.
The
Hilton Sisters
Paris, 21, and Nicki, 18, are the heiresses to the Hilton
fortune. These two have a nice little trust-fund to lean
back on, and they didn't have to work for any of it. These
tall, thin blondes are the new "It Girls" of New
York. They party
with only the rich and famous and they do a good job at
it. Both are presently modeling in various ads, but while
Nicki is pursuing a career designing clothes, Paris is a
bit of a free-bird. She recently did a stint on the reality
show The
Simple Life, and is now working on a CD. God save
us all.
Amanda Bynes
At only 17, this hot, young star has been around Hollywood
for 10 years. She started on the Nickelodeon show All
That and, at age 13, got her own show on Nick. She
continues to move up in the world, starring in movies like
What
a Girl Wants. She is currently co-starring on her
own television show on the WB, What
I Like About You.

Ever wonder what happened to your favorite child stars?
Some disappear, while others continue to strike it rich.
Mayim
Bialik
We all remember this child star as TV's Blossom.
As of 2001, this former child star traded in her acting
skills to attend UCLA. She is now working on a Ph.D. in
neuroscience.
Anna
Chlumsky
This young star broke onto the scene in the lovable movie
My
Girl, and its sequel. But after that, little was
seen of her. She retired from film in 1996 at the ripe
old age of 16 and went on to earn a degree in international
studies at the University of Chicago. She currently is
a researcher for New York's Zagat
Guide.
Soleil
Moon Frye
This cute kid won our hearts in the kooky show Punky
Brewster. She disappeared from the scene for awhile,
but recently came back to acting on Sabrina,
the Teenage Witch. Now that this show is off the air,
it's hard to say what this actress will get into next.
Kirk
Cameron
Kirk made it big on the hit television series Growing
Pains. Since the show, he married actress Chelsea
Noble. They have four children. He became a born-again
Christian at age 20 and still acts occasionally.
Danny
Pintauro
Remember Jonathan from Who's
the Boss? A 1998 Stanford grad, Danny, 24, resides
on the East Coast where he works in theatre.
Michael
Fishman
Roseanne's
DJ gave up acting after the show ended. He married
two years ago, at the age of 18. He'll be 20 on October
22, when he'll also celebrate his second wedding anniversary.
He and his wife, Jenny, have one son, Aaron.
