2. Spend time at a V.A. Medical Center or with any veteran you know.

3. Send a thank-you card to the local V.A. Medical Center or to a veteran.

4. Check a local news source for information on a Veteran’s Day parade in your area.

5. Watch the televised Veteran’s Day ceremony held at Arlington National Cemetery.

6. Fly the American flag at your home or attend a flag raising ceremony.

7. Recite the Pledge of Allegiance.

8. Wear an American flag pin or patriotic T-shirt.

9. Wear a red poppy flower in remembrance of fallen soldiers.

10. Visit a military cemetery in your area to honor the fallen soldiers.
